The challenge

Translate manual invoice handling into a consistent workflow with clear validation and review requirements.

My contribution

Analyzed processing needs; defined business rules and acceptance criteria for extraction, confidence scoring, exception handling and standardized outputs; built a working prototype using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Firebase and the OpenAI API.

Design decisions

Combined modular processing with human review to support data quality, reliability and cost-conscious deployment. The prototype demonstrates feasibility; production accuracy, cost savings and processing-time metrics are not published here.

My contribution

Coordinated delivery, gathered operational requirements, mapped scanning and indexing workflows, and defined QA requirements. Designed sampling procedures to validate completeness and indexing consistency.

Outcome

Built a Python sampling-verification tool with a reported 300% increase in inspection efficiency, as stated in my résumé. The tool supported KPI-driven quality reporting and project oversight.

My contribution

Liaised between customers, sales, operations and developers. Translated business needs into actionable system requirements and supported e-commerce enhancements with data maintenance, UAT and defect validation.

Outcome

Automated extraction and reporting with a reported 800% efficiency improvement. Supported a redesign associated with an 83% increase in website sessions and a 63% increase in conversion. Figures are résumé-reported results; the website redesign was a supported team effort.

Turning vibration data into maintenance insights.

A collaborative smart-facilities project with Hong Kong's Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD), connecting MySQL, Power BI and anomaly detection.

Translated facility-monitoring needs into KPI dashboards and near-real-time reporting. Developed predictive-maintenance analytics using Adaptive Baseline Learning, semi-supervised anomaly detection and online model updates.

Validation

Contributed to solution design and validation of a scalable proof of concept considered for organizational adoption. Translated model outputs into operational insights for stakeholder evaluation.
